Allday and Onions Motorcycle 1914

One of Englands oldest manufacturing companies began as a manufacturer of bellows in the 1600’s. Early in the 1900’s the company expanded into the production of automobiles, the first being the Volturette, using a 4 horsepower De Dion motor, which was actually a quadricycle that was steered using a wheel rather than handlebars.  Motorcycle production started in 1903 and the company was called upon to produce motorcycles  for the war effort, after 1915, these were branded as Allon and continued until the company closed in 1927
