The two-passenger coupe was a popular body style with American (and New Zealand) car buyers in the mid 1930s and the Dodge version was no exception. Their popularity was helped by the fact that the coupe was the lowest priced among the eight body styles in the Dodge car range and more than 32,000 of them were built at the company’s American and Canadian plants in 1936.
